Much like we did at the end of our first wander, we've logged a lot of miles each day across the midwestern prairie.

For this trip we have gone south to miss Chicago on our way to explore north western Nebraska. This dip south towards Cincinnati allowed us a great visit with our friends John and Michele.

Wonderful dinner and conversation at a place called Cozy's. We look forward to having John fly us to dinner the next time we're in town! We were also able to visit with an old colleague of Eric's, Shawn, over coffee before we hit the road. Unfortunately, I failed to get a photo 😞. Where's my girlfriend Linda when I need her?!?

Our next few days through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa went from warm Indian summer at Kickapoo State Park to tornado watches from a major fall Midwest storm during our drive to Black Hawk State Park in western Iowa.
Funny side note: Many of you know Eric grew up in Idaho which is often confused with these other vowel states. Famous people have made public blunders about this but I thought this image captured it best.😊

See you on the road
love watching all your travels...Wonder love to say hello to you guys when we are both in town..
Enjoy your grandbaby !!
You should've stopped to see Compton - about an hour north of Cinnci in Sidney, OH!
